Description
The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
THE CAUSE
The first annual Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament will take place at Northwell Ice Rink. The full day, four team single elimination tournament with championship and consolation games, includes bitter rivals the FDNY and NYPD hockey teams, as well as the United States Coast Guard National Team. Through the daylong event we will be raising awareness for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T). T2T raises money for first responders and their families.
Donations will be used to pay off mortgages and build smart homes for the catastrophically injured and more.

Here is your chance to play against some of our nation’s and city’s heroes in the Heroes Cup Tunnel to Towers Hockey Tournament
THE TEAM
The team must be an elite level team, 18+ only will be allowed to participate. Must be able to field a full team the day of the tournament with additional bench players.
THE FORMAT
The team will play two games the day of the tournament. Three fifteen minute periods with stoppage time.
WHO IS PLAYING
The team who raises the most money by 4:59 PM ET August 4, 2023 will be the final team to enter in the first annual Heroes Cup Tunnel to Towers Hockey Tournament. All funds raised by all teams will be donated to Tunnel to Towers to help with their amazing cause.

REGISTRATION
Please contact hockey@t2t.org if you need assistance registering your team to fundraise for a chance to compete in this amazing opportunity. All funds must be donated through the Tunnel to Towers Fundraising site and on your team page. All donations must be collected by 4:59 PM ET August 4, 2023 to determine the winner. Winning team will move on to play in the tournament.
